Facility Greenhouse at TA-51

EES-2 renovated the 1000 ft2 greenhouse facility at TA-51 after the Cerro Grande Fire in 2000. This renovation involved upgrades of heating and ventilation systems, installation of new benches in the workspace, and adding a new growth chamber for small-scale controlled light experiments. The greenhouse has been in almost constant use since and currently houses experiments on tobacco growth and native plant survival in marginal soils. The efforts are collaborations between EES-2 (Michael Ebinger, David Breshers, and Clif Meyer) and B-3 (Pat Unkefer). For more information, contact Ebinger (7-3147) or Unkefer (5-2554).
